Le Mans Classic is a spectacular meeting of old race cars that takes place every other summer. For those of us too young to have experienced the great battles in the original 1923-1979 The Mans, Le Mans Classic is like a second chance to dance. All the cool cars, some of the original drivers, spectators and even appear in the correct period clothes on the weekend and legends of the race are recreated, but only for 45 minutes to an hour. This year’s race boasted of 100,000 spectators, 460 race cars, drivers 1000, 8000 and an even more impressive cars on display in the infield.

Once all cars are historic, extremely expensive, and the races span many years, each grid is assigned three different sessions of 45 minutes on the track. This unique approach ensures that there is always action on the track, minimizing the chances of mechanical failure or a catastrophic accident involving vintage cars. However, when you put the original drivers in their cars history, historic rivals near, tension and competition to return immediately to the surface. We see the race as good as the original competition this weekend.

As impressive as the cars on the track were the highlight of our weekend in Le Mans Classic was driving the legendary Le Mans circuit as a guest of the Porsche Club of France. After the misfortune of trail enthusiasts, they return to the surface of your car in the infield club and one of the most spectacular sights of the car on the planet is happening before your eyes. Even the owners of Corvette came with virtually all cars these generations.

With greater reliability and an advanced aluminum chassis, the Jaguar XJ should have been our Project of the Year 2004 — except that he cut so close to the revered 1968 ways that few realize the difference between the 2003 2004 steel and aluminum cars.
The 2011 model is gloriously, magnificently different from the design model XJ 42 years. It keeps the aluminum structure of the previous model takes styling cues from the XF, and has its own characteristics that are likely to evolve further in subsequent generations, depending on the design program highly successful Jaguar owner / stylist Sir William Lyons.
A book of 1958, the automobile and its problems of the Great, was a series of illustrations showing characteristics such as style – a fender here, a rear roof profile there – Jaguar models of the year 1930 was been retained and used in recent models for a generation or two before being discarded. Lyon has used this technique regularly throughout the period he was head designer for Jaguar
